I have been practising yoga since the age of eighteen, and was traditionally trained in the rigorous Iyengar Yoga method, qualifying as a level one Iyengar teacher in 2008, and level two in 2018.

My interest in yoga developed when I attended classes with my mother who as a full-time nurse needed to improve her posture as she had an extra vertebrae in her spine which was causing increasing disability. Through yoga she could overcome her challenges and continue to work as a nurse until retirement.

I have taught yoga extensively across group and private classes, and now operate my own private sessions in which I recognise that everyone is individual with their own challenges and aspirations. I get to know each student through the classes so that I can collaborate with them to establish or enhance their experience of yoga.
